Lately Ava has been learning to open doors. She hasn't really mastered it yet so we have not thought much about it. We have not discouraged this or even set any rules with her or Mercedes about opening doors. So this morning we heard the girls bedroom door handle turning as we were laying in bed. We just waited to see what would happen. Well...after hearing their door slam open we hear our door handle turning. Then they burst into our room and climb in bed with us. We felt like we don't have babies anymore. So when do babies become kids? I think that we are starting to experience that transition.

You are both such good narrators! I especially enjoyed the babies-to-kids definition. We needed a new bed about the time Andi started doing this, so we bought a king. I don't remember the last time she craweled in there. You never know when the last time will be--cherish them all as they come!! Much love, mj
